Rotary Hitter Chipping Stroke
View "Rotary Hitter Chip Stroke" Video
Now it's time to put in the beginning leg work of learning the hitter stroke and impact position. There's no better way to do this then with practicing chip strokes as demonstrated in this video. The importance of the flat left wrist in the Push Release that is demonstrated in this golf stroke is of utmost importance and will enable a whole new world of ball control once grooved in your swing. Take your time with these strokes and pay very close attemtion to the position of the left and right wrists through impact during the slow motion sequences at the end. Note how the left wrist NEVER breaks down, but rotates at the end to allow for the release of the momentum of the club on the longer strokes.
Note in the chipping sequence above that the left wrist stays flat throughout the entire stroke and that the clubhead never passes the hands, even into the follow through.
