"Common Swing Faults from Poor Setup" Video
Since becoming a member of the RSGA staff, I have spent much of my first month on the job learning the nuts and bolts of the Rotary Swing model. I have familiarized myself with the anatomic absolutes and the biomechanical fundamentals around which Chuck’s system has been built. In addition to my book learning, real world application is what good instruction is truly about, and I have spent many days observing Chuck on the lesson tee. Now that I have a month under my belt, I must say I am amazed at the number one problem that is encountered in the majority of lessons, proper weight distribution at setup. I guess this should not come as a surprise to me, for every golf book I have picked up over the course of my 27 years said the same thing, weight poised on the balls of your feet. I am here today to tell you NO! In this video I will expand on Alison’s video, Biomechanically Correct Setup and Balance, and I walk you through the most common pitfalls I have observed when the weight is not properly distributed at address.
